Not all leads who are minorities are gangstas (although they wanna be'ed hilariously in here) and not all cats in movies are little jerks who just want to take over the world.
#Keanu full movie fmovies movie
This movie succeeds in breaking general stereotypes about black (lead) males in movies as well as cats in movies. Also it is a bit of a head scratcher for me how this movie received bad reviews and makes me question if these are just trolls in general. Key and Peele have proved to me they have certified comedic chops without needed to lay on the sexual innuendo like so many other "comedy" movies do. I'm not sure why this has to be a thing with some movies. I can't remember the last time I laughed this hard at a movie (maybe Step Brothers?)And one thing I loved about this movie is that it wasn't too raunchy, if not at all. I can honestly say the movie had everything action, suspense, a little romance and tons of comedy. What unfolds as Keanu finds his way to one of their porches and adorably "meows" for help, is the set up for what will become the two cat hero's epic adventure for this fur ball, but also a journey on their own personal level where they learn to live a little and let loose. As the story opened up I was already blown away: drug lord? epic fight scene? a kitten on the run!? Then enter our two main protagonists: suburban nerds one of which is getting over a devastating break up, and the other who is as his wife says "too wound up and uptight". I expected most a few laughs and an easy way to spend my evening with the bf.

I've been to the Cat Video Film festivals and knew how fun cats can be to watch, so of course being the crazy cat lady that I am, I decided to give it a whirl. I seen a few of their sketches online and whatever popped on Facebook, but I didn't follow them like their usual fans. When I first heard about this movie I was intrigued. I went into this movie kind of green with Key and Peele.
